SmashBall

Due to the unfolding Public Health concerns, we are postponing our spring SmashBall programs until further notice.  We will update both our website and our Facebook page with any upcoming programs we have.

Welcome to SmashBall!

SmashBall is a modified game of volleyball that focuses on the most exciting skill – the spike. It was developed by Peter Van Der Ven in the Netherlands.

During SmashBall, athletes also learn other key volleyball skills (forearm pass, overhead pass, serving). SmashBall is played on a smaller playing surface (badminton courts) and incorporates the important volleyball sequence of “to the net, along the net, over the net”.

Athletes participating in SmashBall programs progress through various levels. Please check out this Ontario Volleyball video to learn more.
